¹⁹ As for the other deeds of Joash, what he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

²⁰ Joash’s servants plotted against him, and they killed him at Beth-millo, on the road going down to Silla. ²¹ His servants who killed him were Jozacar, the son of Shimeath, and Jehozabad, the son of Shomer.

He died, and they buried him with his fathers in the City of David. Amaziah, his son, reigned in his stead.
